I wanted to put in writing and formally thank you for all the work you have put in with myself to improve Great Aussie Patios.  I have had some great successes so far and my journey utilizing Kolbe Systems has really only just begun.

 

When you first presented to me your model and how it would help my business I did have my doubts and scepticism.  Like a lot of people I thought my business would just be too hard to put systems too and wasn't sure you could improve on what I had already in place.  How wrong I was.

Your method training was immediately impressive and quite intoxicating.  The more time I spent with yourself and the more tasks you gave me, the more I needed.  The tools and techniques you started me off with were so simple yet I look back and they are some of the most powerful tools I still use.  Things like the Dictionary and how to write policy are gold within my business, very treasured. 

 

Since working with Kolbe Systems I had some fantastic wins.  Perhaps the greatest win has been in my recruitment of new staff.  Finding staff at Great Aussie Patios in the past was all about friends and family.  Through experience this is possibly the worst way to recruit people to work for you, but I didn't have the confidence to do it any other way.  Now I have not only the confidence, but the tools and systems  to recruit the right person the first time round. The work we did on Recruitment  I now consider  THE most important part of my business.

 

Another major win was the work on my induction process.  Before utilizing Kolbe Systems we had very little process or procedure to induct a new staff member.  It was a matter of firstly just trying to find the time to induct them, then just making it up as went just what I would do to get them up to speed.  Now with a formal system in place, my recent staff placements have been a pleasure rather than a chore.  It also used to be a major inconvenience to get a new staff members trained up. I didn't know where to start and if any of it was sinking in.  The manual I wrote using Kolbe Systems was gold and my new sales rep was up to speed in 3 weeks.  This training used to take me months!

 

My journey to systemize Great Aussie Patios has only just begun.  Many more wins are certain to follow.  Any business owner  who is looking to become highly organized must meet with Evan and let Kolbe Systems do the rest.
